Description

hi all!!
I started this pic a year ago, initially copied from a small & dirty jpg photo, and now is finally finished!! (you know, i'm not constant at all.. ;)

This picture was pixelled in GraFX2, a MS-DOS program like the old and good Deluxe Paint. Pixelled means done PIXEL BY PIXEL, doing all the Antialiasing and the Dithering by hand, and customizing the 256 colors pallete (well, this pic uses 84 cols.)

well, any comment or question is welcome.

hope you like it

that is darn impressive, scared by the photo-realism!

you're a sucker for punishment doing it pixel by pixel - deserves no less than 5+

I took the original and the finished one and examined both of them in great detail.. and while at first glance I wasn't impressed, after really looking closely... I must say this peice is absolutely excellent. Perfect... the detail is absolutely seraphical; Five points.

hey akaroo, thanks!, thats a compliment for me in fact, the nice thing about pixelated images is to take the zoom and take a tour, seeing how the antialias, dither and colour choice were done :) (specially with 320x200 pixelated, that have a LOT of more work and difficulties than this one)

ok, i'm going to tell you a 'secret'. There's a 'hidden part' or 'Easter Egg' in the image... (newalpha already discovered it :* ) ... try to find it! ;)

Great piece of work. This is pixel art taken to a next level, Lol. it is simply amazing, it would be amazing if done on photoshop or any other such programme but done pixel by pixel is mindblowing. It looks like a profesional photo.
great piece of work. 10/10, +5

cool.... really gets across the still, silent feeling of being underwater. I also really like the way her body disperses into the refraction of the water at the top.

Joder tio... en dos palabras : im-presionante :p Acabo de entrar en esta especie de comunidad y estoy muy sorprendido de todas estas obras. Exactamente que programas usas y cuanto tiempo te lleva hacer "eso" tan currado.
Gracias.

a clean and a clear vision! water expressed in a plane and blue manner... makes a simple and a strong remarke... The girl's hair isn't scattered, and the strong plain black colours chosen, clothes, hair , eyelasahes, lips... a beautiful coordination...
marvellous
